I’m Pam Groom. I’m obsessed with making the best custom puppets with the latest materials and tested build techniques. I’d love to problem solve your specific needs so you’re empowered to produce great film and video content in line with your unique vision. I love working with quality materials, and will custom dye fleece or select high quality long fake fur from reliable suppliers that match the look you want. I make leather anti-fatigue hand grips for my puppets, so your puppeteer can perform longer while filming. I’ve had the pleasure of learning from talented builders such as Pasha Romanowski from Project Puppet, BJ Guyer from Stan Winston Studios, and Jim Kroupa and the late David Pannebecker who both learned from Kermit Love. I’ve attended or assisted at every Beyond the Sock Workshop at the University of North Texas which specializes in training for both puppeteering excellence in both puppet construction and puppeteering performance.
